Habitual: A Book by Populace Coffee on Kickstarter

I usually don’t do a whole lot of Kickstarter promoting but after listening to Populace Coffee founder, Andrew Heppner, on I Brew My Own Coffee (Episode 22) yesterday, I checked it out and found the project worth sharing with you dear readers!

The gang at Populace Coffee has produced this book, Habitual, that’s about the experiences of brewing coffee. Watch the video on the Kickstarter page to get a better sense of the project. I can’t do it justice. They are offering it in printed and/or PDF format. The rewards are very affordable. I went with a PDF copy (save trees, last thing I need is another printed book here at KCcoffeegeek.com World Domination Headquarters) that includes a bag of coffee.

I encourage you to check out Populace’s Kickstarter campaign and see if one of the rewards works for you, too.

Also, keep your eyes peeled for the return of their Flights of Fancy contest. I missed out on this first one last year, but I am going to be all over it this year. They basically send out a flight of small coffee samples and you need to identify which coffees are which. The prize last year was a ridiculous Mahlkönig EK-43 grinder (the grinder all grinders are envious of), and this year’s prize is going to be a Mahlkönig Peak grinder. Swoon.
